WC OCEANSIDE INN Rules & Restrictions and Privacy Terms

Thank you for choosing to stay with us at WC OCEANSIDE INN. Listed below are the inn house rules/policies and procedures, please read them carefully.
By booking a reservation on our website, you are agreeing to abide by all our house rules and accepting all responsibility for the reservation.
Check-in is any time after 3 PM.

Please leave us a mobile number with your booking that is able to receive text messages. 

We will text message you directions and check in instructions the day of your stay after 11 am.

The exterior and interior doors have smart locks to enter- you will be given a unique code with your check in instructions message.

Please lock doors behind you.

No shoes in suite.

There are 2 pet friendly suites. Bamboo Side Suite and Mountain Top Suite with vinyl plank flooring. To book with a pet please choose the pet add on option of $50 at check out.

Please book the correct number of guests or let us know if there is any changes. Please note: We have cameras located only at main entrances pointing outwards for security purposes only.

It is helpful to tell us a little about yourself in the message field when booking and why you are visiting. We love to treat our guests with a welcome refreshment or snack. For families we offer kids books, games, bubble bath, helmet and scooter, and binoculars. For pets we offer a special blanket, paw towel, doggy bags, treat and welcome meal.

Please note our local places to eat close around 7pm please pack some food and snacks. We have some basic cooking supplies for cooking in our apartment kitchens. We offer coffee, cream, sugar, oil, salt and pepper in each suite. 

Bathrooms are nicely renovated with spa deep soaker tubs and rain shower heads. We offer a spa bath package with epsom salts, candle and book for a relaxing evening after your adventures.
Check-out is at 11 AM. If you require a later check-out, please contact us before 9 am on the day of departure, and we will do our best to accommodate. Early and late check-ins are not guaranteed. 
We will refund with fair notice of 24-48hours. 
Pets are allowed at a price of $50 per stay, ONLY IN suites with permission from WCOCEANSIDEINN.  If a pet is found in a suite we have not deemed our pet friendly suite the damage deposit will not be refunded. Pets are not allowed on comforters or beds. We will will provide a pet friendly blanket for use on couch or beside bed. A non refundable pet fee of $50 is required at time of booking. Pets must be under 45 LBS. Pets must be house trained and nails trimmed. We have newly refinished hardwood from 1960's that has taken countless hours to restore. Pets must be with owners at all times and cannot be left unattended in suites. They must be leashed at all times in public areas of the inn. It is not preferred that the inn grass be used for pet waste, if accidents occur please pick up after your pet. There is a wonderful public beach side park directly down the hill from the inn and a very nice marine drive side walk that goes from one end of town towards the Mill. 
Should it be determined that excessive disturbance or damages have taken place, the inn reserves the right to deduct from the room Damage Deposit. The Guest also acknowledges and agrees that the Pet fee amount will not limit the right of the Hotel to exercise or pursue any remedy available in law or in equity for breach of this agreement, including, but not limited to, damages on appliances or finishes, furniture, or any other costs or losses resulting from the negligence of the Guest and their Pets.
We are a 100% non-smoking inn. Smoking is prohibited at all times. If smoking has taken place, a fine of $200.00 will be applied. Please do not smoke anywhere within 5 meters of the buildings entrances and windows. 
Guests must be 18 years or older to check in without a parent or legal guardian.

. To ensure the enjoyment and to protect the inn and our guests, this policy is strictly enforced. In the event of a disturbance one warning will be given to reduce noise. If this warning is not followed, the guest will forfeit all fees and must leave the inn immediately.
In order for guest accommodations to be confirmed, at the time of check in all sufficient payment must be provided.
Accepted Payment Types: Our preference is E-transfer to, we can invoice you or your company by email that will have instructions to do so and a link to pay Debit, VISA, MasterCard, Paypal and Apple Pay if you choose.
The Guest acknowledges and agrees that the Security Deposit amount will not limit the right of the inn to exercise or pursue any remedy available in law or in equity for breach of this agreement, including, but not limited to, damages on appliances or finishes, furniture, or any other costs or losses resulting from the negligence of the Guest.
The Guest hereby also agrees that any lost or damaged TV remotes, blow dryers, irons, will be replaced at Guest(s) cost and will be deducted.


WC OCEANSIDE INN values your privacy and it committed to provide a safe website for visitors of all ages.  The Company complies with Canadian Federal and Provincial privacy laws and regulations including the Personal Information and Electronic Documents Act.
This Privacy Policy covers any information gathered on our website, and all subpages of that domain. There may be links from our Site to other web sites; note that this Privacy Policy applies only to our Site and not to any third party websites to which our Site may be linked. WC OCEANSIDE INN does not endorse, and is not responsible for these linked websites.
Information We Collect
This Privacy Policy covers two types of information collected on our Site: aggregated and personal. The term “aggregated data” refers to anonymous information regarding visitors of the site that relates to the usage of the site. Such information does not include personal information that identifies individuals. This information is collected through Google Analytics, Cookies, and WiX. This information may be shared with a limited number of third parties, and can be used for analytics and marketing decisions.
Personal Information is information voluntarily provided that identifies you as an individual such as your name, address, e-mail address, credit card number and expiry date and telephone number. Any personal information is only collected with your express or clearly implied consent, and is solely used for the purpose of booking a reservation as per the user’s request.
Personal Information voluntarily disclosed by a user when booking and is collected with the user’s express or clearly implied consent. Personal information for the Loyalty Program include name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, birthdays and dates of celebration, preferences for your stay. The information collected is solely used for the purposes of assigning and keeping track of reward points and its usage. The details of your stay at WC OCEANSIDE INN will be retained only for booking future reservations and responding to your future inquiries.
Personal Information voluntarily disclosed by a user when subscribing to  newsletter and promotional emails is collected with the user’s express consent, adhering to Canada's anti-spam legislation (CASL). Personal information for our newsletter and e-promotion subscription includes name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. The user may unsubscribe at any time. The information collected will not be shared with any third party, and will only be retained for its intended purposes.  
We will keep confidential any personal information that you disclose to us. We require our employees, agents and affiliates to affirm the confidential nature of your information and not share it with any third party. We will not release without the user’s approval any personal information to anyone outside our corporation. We may disclose the user’s information to parties requiring it under law or to perform credit checks, credit reports or collect any debts owed. 
WC OCEANSIDE INN reserves the right to make amendments to its Privacy Policy at any time. We recommend the user to check our Privacy Policy for any updates or changes.


Unfortunately we are not able to do any returns for our products as they are custom made per order. We do not currently accept cancellations on bookings but will happily move the booking within the current year if the dates are available at no charge. Damage deposit is fully refundable and we will process as soon as we are able to check the suite.
